It occurred to me on New Year’s Eve that I’ve had the same New Year’s resolution every year for eight years straight: Get an agent and sell a book. In 2012, I actually accomplished those goals. I was totally stumped for a resolution for 2013. Then it occurred to me. I might have sold my book in 2012, but 2013 is the year when it actually happens.
I have another book already contracted that I’ll finish, resolution or not, in 2013. I have four trips planned to writers conferences and book festivals to support Viral Nation. Wonder-of-wonders, I’m finally going to graduate from university in 2013. This is going to be an amazing year, and my only resolution is to make the most of it.
